Description

This building on Market Street dates from between 1850 and 1860 and is constructed in a Classical style. It is built of ashlar stone and is two storeys high, though lower in height than the adjacent buildings at Nos 2 to 10. The front of the building is curved. There are nine sash windows, with bracketed cornices above those on the first floor. The ground floor contains shop fronts and doors with faceted rustication. A cornice and blocking course run along the top of the building.
