Description
No. 25 Market Street is a late 18th-century shop with accommodation above, currently used for commercial purposes. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has a two-window range, with 16-pane sash windows that have painted stone sills and flat arched brick heads on each floor. The shop front was almost entirely rebuilt around 1980, retaining only the inner frames of the windows and the central doorway from the earlier design. The interior fittings from the former chemist's shop have also been removed.
