Description

The building comprises two houses, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of dressed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and originally had two bays, with a wing projecting to the right. The first bay now functions as a cottage and features 20th-century casement windows and an entrance. The second bay has double-chamfered-mullioned windows: five lights to the ground floor, and three lights to the first floor, each with a label mould. The entrance is distinguished by its large lintel. The projecting wing features three-light mullioned windows, one on each floor, with a blocked two-light window on the first floor. Gable-end and cross-axial stacks are present. The rear of the building shows further mullioned windows and an outshut on the right-hand side. Nearby stands a much-altered barn bearing the date 1678.
