Description

The Tennis Club House, built in 1923 and extended in 1935, is a single-storey structure featuring mock timbering and a slate roof. It has three bays with a central entrance located in a pedimented gable, flanked by paired three-light casement windows. The entrance includes a part-glazed door with an entablature supported by wrought-iron brackets. At the top of the roof, there is a cupola with a weather vane. The club house was constructed as a facility for the model village of Bank Top, which was established and owned by the Ashworth Family to support their New Eagley Mills.
