Description

The Black Horse Public House is a 17th-century building located on Liverpool Road. It has been restored and modernized but still retains some of its character. The structure is in an L shape, featuring a timbered gable on the wing and low horizontal windows. The main block has two windows on each floor across its two storeys. The roof is covered with slate, and the walls are roughcast.
