Description

Long Stone is a large stone shaft located on Longstone Lane in Little Budworth. This medieval structure is made of red sandstone ashlar and features a square shaft that stands approximately 1 foot 6 inches high. The shaft is supported by a stepped base from the 19th and 20th centuries, which consists of two square steps. The top of the shaft is damaged.
