Description
This is a farm building located 20 metres east of Lane Ends Farmhouse, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick in English garden wall bond and features a graded grey slate roof. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys. The lower storey includes hopper casements and boarded doors, as well as a cart doorway with a cambered oak lintel. There are round brick-lined pitching eyes and boarded loading doors for the lofts. External stone steps on a brick base are situated against the front gable of the right wing. The building is attractively grouped with Lane Ends Farmhouse and is listed for its group value.
