Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage, likely from the 17th century, that has been altered. It features a pebbledashed exterior, probably over an oak frame, and has a clay tile roof. The building has one and a half storeys. The entrance includes a framed and boarded door with ornate hinges from the Arley estate. To the right of the door is a one-pane replaced casement window, while to the left is a three-pane casement window. Upstairs, there is a casement window with three two-pane lights. The left gable is made of brick and has a flush plinthed brick chimney with engaged diagonal flues, which likely dates from the later 19th century and was built for Rowland Egerton Warburton. The interior could not be inspected.
