Description
The Dragon Fountain is a fountain statuary dating from around 1896, created for the 1st Duke of Westminster and tentatively attributed to Edwin Lutyens. It features a stone dragon that carries a bowl on its back, with two intertwined dolphins positioned above the bowl. This fountain and its pool serve as the focal point of the south "Italian" garden. A photograph of the fountain was published in Country Life on April 20th, 1901.
