Description
The gate piers, gates, and screen located about 70 metres south west of Bostock Hall date from around 1875. They are constructed from ashlar and feature wrought iron railings and gates. The structure includes four square piers with projecting plinths and moulded tops, along with rectangular panels that match the piers. At the top of each pier is an entablature with flutings on the frieze and a cyma moulded cornice above. Each pier is topped with a round urn that has a wineglass stem, lion masks on the body, and a ball finial. The lateral screens, set above a stone footing, have twisted uprights, while the central gates are adorned with richly floral motifs in the ironwork.
