Description
This farmbuilding, located about 50 yards east of the stable block in Little Budworth, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red Flemish bond brick and features a slate roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has an entrance front with an ashlar plinth and chamfered quoins at the corners. The facade has a random arrangement of bays, including eight basket-arched doorways. There are basket-arched double doors positioned to the left of center, with a window to the right. The left reveal contains cambered-headed openings on both the ground and first floors, while the right reveal has similar openings but with an imposed window on the ground floor. The building is finished with ashlar kneelers and coping.
