Description
A row consisting of one small townhouse and two cottages, likely dating from the 1850s. The buildings are constructed of Flemish bond brown brick with a grey slate hipped roof. Number 1 is double-fronted, while numbers 3 and 5 are of a single bay. The doors have a pair of boldly fielded upper panels and a pair of flush lower panels, featuring edge-moulds. They are surmounted by radial-bar fanlights with roses in the spandrels and leaf motifs at the hubs, with brick keys and cornices. The windows are flush sashes; those at number 3 have 16 panes, while the others have had their glazing-bars removed. The first storey windows are set within almost flat, gauged brick arches, while the second storey windows have soldier-arches. A bold, moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the buildings, and there are four ridge chimneys, those to number 1 running longitudinally. The rear elevation has no visible features of particular interest. The interiors have not been inspected.
