Description

This is an early 19th-century house with a ground floor shop. It is located on Northgate Street in Chester, and forms a group with numbers 90 to 98 and 104 to 110. The building is constructed of brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a Welsh slate roof and brick stacks at the ends. It is three storeys high and has two bays. A late 20th-century shop front with glazed panels and a plain fascia occupies the ground floor. Above the shop, a sill band runs below tall, undivided sash windows on the first floor, with painted stone sills. The flat arches above the first-floor windows are painted to resemble wedge lintels. The second-floor windows are smaller versions of those below. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top. The rear elevation features recessed six-over-six pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
