Description

This is a row of three small town houses located in Queens Place, Chester, dating from the early 19th century. The front is constructed of brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with the rear rendered. The roofs are covered in grey slate. Each house is three storeys high and one bay wide. They feature a painted stone plinth, and each has a six-pane door within a simple doorcase featuring a frieze and a pediment hood, with a three-pane overlight. The ground floor windows are recessed 16-pane sashes, while the first floor windows are recessed 16-pane sashes. The second floor windows are unequal 12-pane sashes. Two cast-iron rainwater pipes with likely 19th-century heads are present, as is a painted stone cornice. Ridge chimneys are also visible. The rears of the properties have been altered and rendered. The interiors have not been inspected.
