Description

A terrace of four shops with living accommodation above, built around 1800. The buildings are constructed of brick, with some areas rendered (covered with a plaster finish), and have a roof of Welsh slate. The terrace is three storeys high and has a five-window front, comprising one section designed for two shops and three sections for single shops, all with double-depth rooms. The ground floors have been refurbished with new shop fronts. The upper floors have 12-pane sash windows, most of which have been replaced with 2-pane sashes, although Number 116 retains the originals. All windows have painted stone surrounds and sills. The terrace has end walls and internal chimney stacks.
