Description

A range of small villas dated 1845, located at 7-11 Vale Walk. The buildings are constructed of red brick with stone dressings. They are two storeys high, with attics in the gables. A central projecting gabled bay features one window above an arched niche containing a painted stone bust. The windows are casement style, with hood moulds above. Nos. 7 and 9 retain iron lattice glazing bars, while No. 11 has modern leaded lights. Each villa has a doorway with an arched head, a gabled stone porch, and a part-glazed door (renewed). The gabled ends have plain bargeboards. The chimneys are clustered octagonal stacks of blue brick with stone caps, and the roofs are tiled.
