Description

The Lord Eldon Public House is a public house, likely originally a dwelling, dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations from the 19th century and a 20th-century addition. It is constructed of brick and features a heavy slate roof. The building has a baffle entry plan with a doorway located to the right of the center and a rear wing. It stands two stories high and has a three-window range. The windows are three-light casements throughout, with those on the ground floor added in the early 20th century as shallow projecting mullioned bays flanking the entrance. An arch links these bays to form a shallow porch. The building has an axial stack. The interior has not been inspected.
