Description

Dane Villa is a house dating from 1781, situated on Chelford Road in Great Warford. The house is constructed of red Flemish bond brick with stone dressings and a slate and stone slate roof. The front elevation has three bays. A 20th-century lean-to porch occupies the centre. The ground floor features splayed-head three-light casement windows on either side, while the first floor has three-light casement windows with a central datestone inscribed “DTM 1781”. The rear elevation includes a 20th-century outshut on the ground floor and two three-light casements on the first floor, under a stone slate roof.
