Description
The Tomb of Samuel Brady, located in the churchyard, is a box tomb dated 1814. It is made of carved ashlar buff sandstone and features Welsh slate plaques. The tomb showcases Neo-Classical details and is set on a rectangular base with a moulded plinth. At each corner, there are square fluted clasping pilasters topped with urns in the frieze. Between the pilasters, there are raised dot and diamond bands. The capstone has a moulded cornice that supports a central gadrooned urn with an acorn finial. There are six memorial plaques, five of which are engraved, with the earliest dedicated to Samuel Brady.
