Description

The bridge over Bollinhurst Brook, located 30 meters north of Brookside Farmhouse, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed buff sandstone rubble and features a slightly recessed segmental arch. Above the arch, there is a plain parapet with a flat coping that is secured with iron cramps. The roadway is cobbled. A portion of the bridge lies within Greater Manchester. This structure is listed for its group value only.
