Description

The forecourt wall and gate piers to the Church of Holy Trinity in Sunderland date from around 1719. The structure features a brick wall topped with stone coping, along with ashlar piers. The wall is low, and while the railings have been renewed, those in the southern section are of 19th-century design. The gate piers are low, square, and have a rusticated cornice.
