Description

This is a stone located at the junction of Cox Green Road and Woodhouse Lane in Houghton-le-Spring. It is inscribed and is possibly a boundary stone. The stone is made of sandstone and has a square shape with sides that curve to a low pointed top. The inscription reads 'NEW PENSHER 1867'.
