Description

The Church of St Stephen was built between 1844 and 1846, designed by architect Anthony Salvin. It is a modest and simple building in the Early English style, constructed of stone with a rendered finish and rusticated quoins, topped with slate roofs. At the north-west corner, there is a small square tower featuring an octagonal ball turret that is capped by a spire. The church comprises a nave and chancel, along with a gabled entrance porch on the south side. Additional features include an aisle, transept, and vestry located on the north side.
