Description

Laverick Hall is a late 18th-century house, originally a farmhouse. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar with a plinth and has a Welsh slate roof with stone copings. The house features brick end chimneys, mostly rebuilt, and a boarded eaves cornice gutter. The two-storey, five-window front has modern 12-paned sash windows with flush keystones and projecting cills. A central 8-panelled door, with a patterned oblong fanlight, is set within a raised stone surround. The rear elevation has been refenestrated. Inside, a barrel-vaulted landing and some original architraves remain. Tall rubble walls with flat stone copings link the house to outbuildings on either side; the western outbuilding extends with a curved section to the road. A small, curved outbuilding is attached to the north-west corner.
