Description
This is a terrace of houses at 7-21 The Grove, Gosforth, built around 1845. The houses are constructed of sandstone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. Each of the houses in the terrace is three bays wide and two storeys high. Steps lead to four-panelled entrance doors, each with a fanlight within an architrave. Margined sash windows are set within flat ashlar surrounds with bracketed sills. A full-height, projecting square bay is a prominent feature of number 15. The terrace has an eaves cornice, and tall ashlar ridge chimneys with cornices.
