Description
Carr House is a house and cottage that have been converted into two separate dwellings. It likely dates from the early 18th century and was refenestrated and re-roofed in the second quarter of the 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared sandstone with quoins and features a Welsh slate roof, which has flat stone gable copings on curved kneelers. It is two storeys high and has six bays. The fifth bay contains a glazed door with a patterned overlight above it. Most of the windows are sashes with glazing bars, and all openings have raised stone surrounds.
