Description

The Fenwick Tomb, located about 24 meters south and 6 meters east of the Church of Holy Cross, is a table tomb dating from around 1795. It is made of sandstone and features a table supported by a central scrolled pedestal and four tapered, reeded rectangular-section corner columns, which have paterae on their friezes. The inscriptions on the table and slab commemorate Barnabas Fenwick, who died in 1795, as well as other members of his family up to 1823.
