Description

This is an altar tomb built in 1817 for the Richardson family, located 20 metres north of the transept of the Church of St. Mary. It is made of sandstone and designed in the style of a Doric temple, featuring six columns that support an entablature. The tomb is inscribed with the name William Richardson of Greenside, who died in 1817.
