Description

The Chancer tomb, located approximately 24 meters south of the Church of the Holy Cross, is a table tomb dating from around 1819. It is made of sandstone and features a table resting on a central scrolled pedestal supported by four bulbous fluted corner columns. The tomb bears an inscription commemorating Nicholas Chancer, a mason who died in 1819.
