Description
The structure is a carriage entrance and flanking walls dating from 1826, built in a castellated style using sandstone. It features a high moulded Tudor arch, which is flanked by square turrets and has patterned spandrels. The ogee plinth is tooled and resembles that of the adjoining South Lodge, while the crenellated parapet adds to its decorative appeal. The coped walls step down from the turrets and create a canted entrance.
