Description
The Green Tree Public House is a late 17th century or early 18th century building located on the east side of High Street in Yarm. The exterior is rough rendered and features a high-pitched roof covered with modern ridged tiles. The building stands three storeys tall and has two windows. It is distinguished by three full-height giant pilasters, which are a local architectural feature, linked by a cill band at the second floor. The windows are late 19th century sash windows with stone cills. The public house front was added in the early 20th century.
