Description

No. 126 on High Street is a building dating from around 1900. The entire front above the modern shop fascia is covered in glazed tile, which was painted at the time of the survey. The first floor, which has no windows, features a relief of a fantastical sailing ship on a sea with twinned dolphins. This relief is framed by baroque side panels that include small round windows above, leading to a reversed segmental balustraded parapet.
