Description

The building at 106 High Street is a late 18th and early 19th century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys and an attic in height, with a four-window front. The exterior is built of purple header bricks. It has plate glass sash windows in flush frames; one window is blank. The windows have stone or stucco lintels with keys. The roof is pantiled, with three brick chimneys slightly set back from the ridge and recessed brick dormers. Brick corbels support the gables and the roof has coped verges. The central entrance has a six-panel door with stone lintels and keys, panelled reveals, and a wooden pilaster doorpiece. A gabled, two-storey, three-window extension is located at the rear.
