Description
Sherton House is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on Norton High Street. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring six windows, two of which are two-storey. The structure is made of brick, with a parapet and a stone coping. The windows have brick flat arches with stone keys and late glazed sashes. The roof is pantiled, supported by four brick chimneys, and includes three dormers with glazing bar casement windows and glazed cheeks.
The entrance to No 100 features a six-panel door flanked by engaged fluted columns, which extend over an annulet to accommodate a radial fan light. It has a dentil cornice and a full-scale capital above a flat hood. No 102 has a door on the north side, with a modern doorcase that includes a broken pediment and a six-panel door, where the upper part is treated as a fanlight. There is a two-storey extension to the east, and railings are present in front of both No 100 and No 102.
