Description
Nightingale's Farmhouse and the adjoining barn date from the early 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick that is thinly roughcast, topped with a pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and features three windows, two of which are three-light, along with an added bay. The later 19th-century sashes are present, and there is a four-panel door with an oblong fanlight. A one-storey link connects the farmhouse to the brick barn, which has arrow-slip openings above a Dutch door. Although the barn's roof is now covered with corrugated asbestos, the projecting gingang still displays its original pointed pantiled roof and main beam. The farmhouse is also known as Little Neuk Farmhouse.
