Description
91A High Street is a late 18th-century building originally used as a smithy and now functioning as a house. It is constructed from coursed squared stone featuring herringbone tooling and has a corrugated asbestos roof topped with a brick chimney. The exterior is a single storey with a two-bay range. To the right of the center, there is a Dutch door set beneath a flat stone lintel that has herringbone tooling. On the left, there is a horizontal sliding sash window positioned on large stone blocks that serve as a sill, and next to the door, a small boarded hatch has been inserted into a larger opening that has been partly blocked with stone. The roof includes a small brick chimney on the left end. The interior has not been inspected.
