Description
Ruther Cross is a medieval wayside cross located approximately 2 meters to the northwest of number 5 Kintyre Walk, on a grass verge adjacent to the northwest gable end of the building. The cross features a rough sandstone shaft measuring 30 centimeters by 25 centimeters and standing 75 centimeters high, set on a squared base that is 75 centimeters by 75 centimeters and 22 centimeters high. On the east face of the shaft, there are two roughly square depressions, including a shallow indentation near the top and a rectangular depression near the base on the west face.
