Description

Nos 45 to 53 on Bridge Street are 18th century buildings that stand two storeys tall. They are constructed of stone and feature moulded jambs around the windows, topped with a pantiled roof. Nos 47 and 49 have later shop fronts, while No 51 boasts an impressive doorcase with fluted pilasters, a broken pediment, and a traceried fanlight. No 53 has a moulded doorway that resembles the windows. The upper storey includes eight windows. These buildings, along with others on the south side of Bridge Street from Nos 25 to 61, are recognized as a group for their historical significance.
