Description

39 Bridge Street is an early 20th-century building that showcases an "art nouveau" influence. It is constructed of ashlar stone with rusticated quoins and stands two storeys high. The building features a heavy cornice supported by consoles and a broken curved pediment. There is a dormer on the roof, and a prominent round hood over the central doorway, which is flanked by ogee arched "Venetian" windows. The upper storey contains a configuration of three, one, and three windows. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side of Bridge Street, ranging from Nos 25 to 61 (odd).
