Description

The gate piers and gates to Carlisle Park were built in 1929 and are made of ashlar and wrought iron. They feature four large octagonal piers with cornices and ball finials that flank a carriage entry, along with two pedestrian entries. The gates are designed in a Baroque style, showcasing scrolled panels and a scrolled top. Additionally, there is a painted iron crest of Morpeth.
