Description

This drinking fountain, located 90 metres south-east of The Old Vicarage, dates from 1902. It is made of ashlar and cast iron. The fountain features a stepped square base with a spout and bowl, supporting a circular column. The column has an inscription that commemorates how water was brought to the village by Viscount Ridley, marking the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. At the top, there is a moulded cap with a ball finial.
