Description
This is a disused lime kiln located 150 metres east of Todholes, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from squared stone in narrow courses, with brick pots. The kiln features a large single-cell design built into the bankside, characterized by a battered front and returns with rock-faced quoins. It has a tall opening that is topped with a corbelled, pointed arch. The domed kiln includes two small segmental-arched pots on the rear wall. This kiln is noted for being well-preserved.
