Description

Ridley Mill House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a slightly later addition to the east bay. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features tolled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of three main bays plus one additional bay. The second bay has a renewed glazed door, and there are 16-pane sash windows with tooled-and-margined lintels and slightly projecting sills. The house has coped gables, with corniced end stacks and a ridge stack. There is a 20th-century extension to the rear, which is not of interest.
