Description
Nos. 8, 10, and 12 in Ford Village are early 19th-century buildings that were originally ten cottages but have since been redivided into three houses. They are constructed of random rubble with stone dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of six windows.
The ground floor has an irregular layout, with an almost central front door to No. 10, which includes an overlight and a hoodmould. To the right of this door are two single-storey canted bay windows and two 2-light mullioned windows, both of which are topped with hoodmoulds. To the left, there are three 2-light windows and one bay window. The first floor features 2-light windows with hoodmoulds.
The roof is hipped and has five corniced stacks on the front pitch and five on the rear, all topped with tall terracotta chimney pots. The doors to Nos. 8 and 12 are located in porches on the returns of the building.
