Description

This is a byre/hayloft located 10 metres south-east of No. 10 in Blanchland, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from roughly-coursed stone, featuring tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, and has a stone slate roof. The building is detached and square in shape, with a small pent addition on the east side. The north side has a boarded door with a boarded pitching door above it, while the gabled west end has boarded double doors set beneath a timber lintel. This structure is included for its group value.
