Description
These are privies located to the rear of No. 13, 14, and Gowland's Cottage in Blanchland, likely built in the 18th century. They are constructed of rubble with cut dressings and feature stone slate roofs. The privies consist of three small blocks: the southern block has four boarded doors, the central block has two boarded doors with an intermediate doorway that has been blocked, and the northern block has one boarded door on the west side and another at the south end. The southern and central blocks have small openings in their gables, while all blocks have small openings in their rear walls, some of which are glazed. These privies are included for their group value.
