Description

The Davison Tomb, located 3.5 metres south of the porch of the Church of St. Mary in Whalton, is a table tomb dating from 1762. It is made of sandstone and features a slab with shouldered angles and a moulded edge. The tomb bears an inscription dedicated to George Davison of Whalton and his family. It is supported by six square moulded urn legs.
