Description
The Bluebell Inn is a public house built around 1840. It is constructed from whinstone rubble, featuring raised sandstone quoins and dressings that are painted light grey. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three symmetrical bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a five-pane fanlight set within a four-centred arch that has a hoodmould. The windows are 12-pane sashes, with the lower ones having moulded cornices, while the upper ones have been renewed. All openings are framed with extended lintels, sills, and mid-blocks. The gable ends have pitched coping on moulded kneelers, and there are stepped and banded end stacks. The altered rear wings of the building are not considered to be of special interest.
