Description
The chapel, dated 1844 above the entrance, is a stone building, rendered at the rear, with a Welsh slate roof. It has a gabled front and a plinth. The central front entrance has been renewed and is set in a raised surround with pilasters, cornices, and a hood, flanked by round-headed sash windows with four panes in architraves and projecting sills. A coped gable sits above, featuring moulded kneelers and a tablet inscribed "WESLEYAN CHAPEL" with the date. The rear elevation has two four-pane sash windows. The building was shown on an Ordnance Survey map circa 1930 as a Salvation Army Barracks. A rendered outshut on the left return is not of particular architectural interest.
