Description

The Old Bridge, now a footbridge, dates from around 1680 and has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared stone and features six segmental arches, with four southern arches having arch rings and two northern arches that are ribbed, likely part of the 20th-century rebuild. The bridge has triangular cutwaters that extend upward to serve as passing places. The parapet has chamfered coping and was set forward on the west side during the 20th-century widening.
